Under the direction of Stewart Bishop, the Nova Swing Band brings together a unique group of talented musicians of all ages from the eastern Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. This mix of talent performs mostly hits of the swing era, in concert and dance settings. The band is open, by audition, and rehearses in the Greenwich Fire Hall on Tuesday evenings.
The Nova Swing Band has been invited to entertain the guests of a gala to support the Valley Regional Hospital and the Valley Hospice Foundation. The 'Our Community Our Health' campaign is presenting 'A Roman Holiday', an evening of food, music, auction and dancing with an Italian flair. The date is April 14, 2012 at 6 pm. Sure to be a grand evening!
